ANZAC - Australian and New Zealand Army Corps
The Anzac Bridge spans Johnstons Bay in Sydney just to the west of the well known Sydney Harbour Bridge. It was named in honour of our soldiers that fought in Gallipoli during WW1 and is the longest span cable-stayed bridge in Australia. To commemorate our united forces, the Australian flag flies proudly on one tower and New Zealands on the other.
This image is my small tribute to those admirable men, one of them being my grandfather-in-law who received the Gallipoli Star for his brave efforts.
